What to expect:
how we begin
First, you reach out to me and we'll schedule a time to chat. You don't have to have ALL the deets (we can brainstorm together) but give me a big picture of what you're looking for. Most likely, you've never been photographed before or you think you're super awkward—I totally get that! We can work through all that together. I promise to work hard to make you feel comfy with easy, natural posing, good music, and good vibes.
Once we've talked and decided on a plan of action, I'll send over some scheduling options for our shoot. If you're interested in any specific times/dates, let me know! Otherwise, I'll send over my best suggestions based on how much time we need. From there, you'll get your contract and request for payment.
You can also let me know if there are any other details or specifics that matter to you as far as wardrobe goes, location, or time.
I show up and we start slow and chill, letting you warm up before sticking a camera in your face.
My goal is to create unique, beautiful images that truly reflect you. Personally, I like to keep the images looking natural, relaxed and fun. I avoid posing in the traditional sense and use prompts to get authentic enjoyment into the photographs. This is not about everyone looking at the camera and saying ‘cheese’ for every single picture.
I love to travel and am happy to go anywhere for a shoot.
I'm always looking for new ways to improve my work and learn more about photography so if you'd like to try something new with me or just want some advice on how you can take better pictures at home please feel free to contact me!
I know you're a little nervous about your shoot. I get it. You may not have done this before and you're wondering what to expect.
The best thing to do is just relax and be yourself. Try not to worry about windswept hair, dirty feet, or people watching—I got this! Just be present. Just enjoy the moment, and I'll do my thang! ;)
I know this may be a little different from what you're used to. But I promise, it's going to be worth it.
I'm not saying we're going to go out in the rain and get soaked—although if it rains a little, let's embrace it! But I am saying that when we're taking pictures, I'm going to be doing my best to capture your real life: how you interact with each other, how you relax at home, and how you act when no ones watching.
If that sounds good to you, let's do this!
Your photos will be available to access, download and print for 90 days on my website. You can share your gallery with friends and family via social media or email, download the images, and order professional lab quality prints directly from the site.
